First Sweater of 2016!

The pattern is Bonny Baby, from Yarn Madness (do take time to check out her place and awesome work). It's not a free pattern, but it satisfied my recently discovered obsession with garter stitch panels and it also includes several other children's sizes. It has clear and precise instructions and all the stitch counts you need.
The yarn is a self-striping one called Allegro, from a well-known Portuguese brand (BMG Affinitas). I used 2 skeins (360 meters) and had literally NOTHING left at the end. Not even a small end! My only mod was not having knit the sleeves in the round, cause I couldn't be bothered to use the magic circle. So I ended up knitting them flat and using some mattress stitch (flawless seams, btw).
So, here it is, the first sweater to kick off 2016. May it be the first of many!
Pode até ser um ano novinho em folha, mas é difícil livrarmo-nos de hábitos antigos. Portanto, aqui está a primeira camisola de 2016! Feita com fio que recebi no Natal (obrigada, Big J), fez parte dos meus planos da véspera de Ano Novo e do Dia de Ano Novo.
O modelo é Bonny Baby, da Yarn Madness (tirem uns minutos para visitar o site e ver o trabalho fantástico). Não é um modelo gratuito, mas acalmou a minha recente obsessão com painéis em ponto de mousse e também inclui outros tamanhos de criança. Tem instruções claras e precisas e todas as contagens de malhas.
O fio faz as riscas sozinho, chama-se Allegro e é da BMG Affinitas. Usei 2 novelos - 360 metros - e não sobrou NADINHA literalmente! Nem uma ponta pequenina. A única alteração que fiz foi não tricotar as mangas em redondo, porque não me apetecia usar o "círculo mágico". Portanto, tricotei em carreiras e depois cosi com "mattress stitch" (costuras perfeitas, já agora). Portanto, aqui está, a primeira camisola de 2016! Que seja a primeira de muitas!
